The short version
Every tool on Toolsyy runs entirely inside your own browser. The text you paste, the files you choose, the passwords you generate, and the documents you create are processed on your device and never transmitted to us. We do not have a server that receives them, and we could not read them if we wanted to.
Who runs this site
Toolsyy is operated by Saunak Sen, based in India, who is the data controller for the limited data described below.

What we don't collect
- We have no accounts, so we never collect names, emails, or passwords.
- We never receive the contents of anything you put into a tool — PDFs, images, JSON, text, or certificate details. Every tool runs on your device, and nothing you enter is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Some tools now remember your input on your device so a reload does not lose your work; exactly which, and for how long, is set out below.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
What is stored on your device
Everything below is stored by your browser, on your device. None of it is transmitted to us — we have no server that could receive it. It is readable only by this site, and you can remove it at any time with the button below or through your browser settings.
Your display preference
Whether you chose light or dark mode. Kept until you clear it.
What you type into a tool
So that a reload or a trip to a guide does not throw away your work, some tools keep your most recent input. Which storage a tool uses depends on what the input usually contains, not on what the tool does:
- Kept until you clear it (8 tools): Timestamp Converter, Cron Validator, Word Counter, Case Converter, Certificate Generator, QR Code Generator, Unit Converter, Age Calculator. These hold drafts and public links rather than credentials.
- Kept only until you close the tab (9 tools): JSON to CSV, CSV to JSON, JSON Formatter, Base64 Encode & Decode, URL Encode & Decode, Hash Generator, JWT Decoder, Regex Tester, Diff Checker. These are where tokens, API keys and exported customer data tend to be pasted, so their input is deliberately never written to long-term storage.
- Never stored at all (8 tools): Merge PDF, Split PDF, Organize PDF, Images to PDF, Image Compressor, Image Converter, Password Generator, UUID Generator. Generated passwords are never written down, and files you open are read straight from disk into memory and released when you leave.
Only your input is kept — never the results, which are recomputed from it.
This browser is not currently holding saved input for any tool.
This clears what the tools remembered. Your light/dark preference is left alone.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own, and our analytics does not use cookies
either. The only cookies on this site come from Google's advertising
services — set by Google and its partners on domains such as
doubleclick.net and google.com, and used to serve
and measure ads.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools themselves work fine with cookies disabled.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to see which tools people use and how the site performs. We chose it specifically because it is cookieless: it sets no cookies, collects no personally identifiable information, and does not track you across other websites. Visitors are counted using an anonymised hash derived from the request, which is discarded within 24 hours, so we cannot identify you or follow you between visits.
It records only aggregate information such as which pages were viewed, referrer, country, and device type. It never receives anything you enter into a tool.
We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly pages load and respond for real visitors. It is cookieless on the same basis and collects only performance timings — how long a page took to render and become interactive — together with the page address, country and device type. It records nothing you type, upload, or generate.
Advertising
This site is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland
If you are in these regions, you will be shown a consent message before personalised ads are served, and you can accept or decline. Your choice is stored on your device and can be changed at any time by clearing cookies and site data for this site. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it the same way.
Visitors in US states with privacy laws
Some US states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Virginia — give residents rights over personal information. We do not collect personal information directly and we do not sell it for money. Advertising cookies may still count as "sharing" or "sale" for targeted advertising under some of these laws.
To opt out of personalised advertising, use Google Ads Settings or a browser-level signal such as Global Privacy Control, which we honour where it is transmitted. You can also contact us at privacy@toolsyy.dev.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal information, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request. Our analytics holds no identifier that could be traced back to you. For data collected by Google through advertising cookies, use the Google controls linked above, or clear cookies and site data in your browser. If you believe we hold information about you, write to privacy@toolsyy.dev and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Toolsyy is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it.
